City releases nine non-residential building permits in October
The city if McKinney released nine non-residential building permits in October for various development projects both east and west of US 75.
The following are the new non-residential building permits released in October, which total $37,860,000 in construction dollars:
- Collin College Administration and Higher Learning Campus and parking garage at 3452 Spur 399, in the Bridge Street Town Centre project at the northeast corner of Spur 399 and US 75, near State Highway 121. The college site has a property valuation of $25 million and the parking garage has a property valuation of $5 million.
- Pecan Grove Cemetery Meeting House and Maintenance Building at 1701 McDonald St., in the Pecan Grove Cemetery at the southeast corner of State Highway 5 and Industrial Boulevard.
The meeting house and maintenance building have a combined property valuation of $500,000.
- Al Alford Fieldhouse at 1 Duvall Street, near Ron Poe Stadium, which has a property valuation of $1.2 million
- Flowers Foods at 479 McKinney Parkway, which has a property valuation of $360,000
- 380 Towne Crossing, retail building E at 2045 N. Central Expressway, which has a property valuation of $450,000
- 380 Towne Crossing, retail building 4 at 2045 N. Central Expressway, which has a property valuation of $450,000
- Trinity Presbyterian Church, phase three, at 5871 Virginia Parkway, which has a property valuation of $2.1 million
- Dr. Banks Medical Office at 6609 Virginia Parkway, which has a property valuation of $2.8 million
After the permits are released from the city, construction can begin on the following sites.
The city also issued 42 new residential building permits in October that have a total $9,840,711 in construction dollars.
A list of the building permits are included in the month Development Services Division report that is released on the 10th day of each month in the Development Services Division building, 111 N. Tennessee St.
