Community Lifeline Center hires new executive director
The Community Lifeline Center in McKinney recently hired a new executive director, Christine Hockin-Boyd to lead center.
"My community friends your help is needed. Yes, the economy is challenging but holding families together is even more difficult. For some "hope" is but a dim picture never to be seen in focus. And others are grasping in the "hope" of words -- small promises of job interviews, deferred payment plans or kindness of friends, family members and church families.
As the new executive director, it is my intent to demonstrate that hope to each person that walks in our door or calls on the telephone, Hockin-Boyd said. She wants to treat each person with respect and kindness with a compassionate heart, she said.
"It is my desire, along with the board of directors, to rebuild Community Lifeline Center to its original purpose -- churches, communities and individuals bonding together in meeting needs with loving hearts," Hockin-Boyd said.
The Community Lifeline Center is based in McKinney.
