SPCA featured animals of the week
Regular adoption fees are $185-$285 for puppies up to 6 months-old, $95-$195 for adult dogs 6 months or older, $75 for senior dogs 7 years or older, $50 for VIP dogs, $125 for cats, $95 for kittens, $75 for senior cats 7 years and older, and $50 for VIP cats. Fee includes spay/neuter surgery, all age-appropriate shots, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older, a feline leukemia test for cats four months and older, a microchip and a free leash or cat carrier. Peanut is a two-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier and Blue Heeler mix and he weighs 43 pounds. He came to the SPCA of Texas on February 6th because his owners couldn’t keep him after their divorce. He is energetic but is also calm and good with children. Peanut likes to keep an eye on everything that’s going on around him but wants to leave plenty of time for petting. He loves attention! Zuika has an exotic name but wants everyone to know she is really just a fun three-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix, who happens to be beautiful. She is a pretty blend of caramel and chocolate colors, is energetic, litter box trained and likes kids. She was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on January 14th because her owner was moving.
